QUETTA: An explosion in Quetta's Kandhari bazaar area murdered 1 person and injured several others on Sunday.
Rescue and disaster teams reached the blast place and started shifting the victims to Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment. An emergency was also enforced at the health facility.
"The bazar was at its most hectic when the bomb went off", Babul Jattak, a rescue employee told .
Police stated the explosive materials were rooted in a drain outside a shop in Kandahari bazaar and added that the marketplace was jam-packed with Eid buyers when the bomb went off.

Nawa-i-Waqt editor and president Majid Nizami died
LAHORE: seasoned journalist, chairman of the Nawa-I-Waqt group and its editor-in-chief, Majeed Nizami, died in Lahore early on Saturday at the age of 86, News revealed.
Nizami’s funeral prayers were offered on Sat morning on Mason Road in Lahore. Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammed Sarwar also attended the funeral.
Nizami had been troubled from heart related illnesses. On Friday, an statement in the The Nation, a Nawa-I-Waqt group newspaper, had read that Nizami was receiving therapy for chest area infection for the past 3 weeks and was slowly recovering.

Court orders to remove Musharraf’s name from (ECL)
KARACHI: Sindh High Court on thurs ordered the federal government to remove the name of former chief executive General (retd) Pervez Musharraf from the Exit Control List (ECL) just after 15 days, a private news channel revealed.
The two-member bench of Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Shahnawaz Tariq offered their verdict on a bespeak filed up against the placing the former president’s name in ECL
“The judge has approved our appeal and has ordered to cancel Musharraf´s name from the Exit Control List. The order will likely be executed after 15 days,” stated Musharraf’s lawyer Farogh Naseem.
The delay in the execution has been given to permit the federal government to appeal up against the verdict, if they want to do so, said the court decision while adding that adding that Musharraf can not leave the country during that time period.

PM Youth Loans granted to 5,518 Pakistanis
ISLAMABAD: A total of 5,518 people have so far been provided financial loans under Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Scheme, government minister for Finance, Economic matters, Statistics and Privatisation Muhammad Ishaq Dar informed National Assembly.
In a written answer to the query of Ms Shahida Rehmani, he stated 348 successful candidates of loans hailed from Sindh, 76 from Balochistan, 4,129 from Punjab, 685 from KPK, 7 hailed from Gilgit-Baltistan, 75 belonged to Azad Jammu and Kashmir and one hundred five hailed from Islamabad.
Giving bankwise break up, he stated 64 successful candidates have provided loans by 1st Women Bank Limited and 5,350 by National Bank of Pakistan.
Out of 5,518 successful candidates 5,302 loans were guaranteed against personal guarantee, while 112 loans were protected against mortgage of residential property owned by the loan candidates.

ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development program has started in Pakistan today, media revealed.
Under this programme, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission will prepare 25000 girls and boys.
Vocational training has initiated in all 3 provinces, including Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA, at the same time.
In addition to free entry and training, students will also get Rs2000 regular payment per month.
As per earlier reports, 77000 candidates have applied for PM’s Youth Skills Development programme since it was announced in April 2014.
Shaza Fatima Khwaja, organizer Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development programme, stated “we're considering of raising the number of seats the coming year to accommodate additional candidates.”

Pakistan Taliban TTP Issues Fatwa Against Different Journalists
Restricted Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has released a fatwa towards
different journalists of the country accusing them of siding with disbelievers and their anti Islam activities. Reported by sources, after Fatwa, TPP has prepared a hit list of 16 journalists. Reports say that numerous media people are working for the agenda of Anti Islam forces on the name of secular reasoning.

Imran Khan Directs KPK Provinchial Government to Impose Taxes on NATO Vehicles
Peshawar: The PTI chief Imran Khan has asked the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to impose income taxes on the NATO containers passing by through the province, devise financial strategy plans and search for revenue generation sources. An official hand out quoted his argument in a conference held to brief the KPK Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak towards economic status of the province by the additional chief assistant. The woman named Shehnila belonged to Karachi. She lived in London along with her 2 sons and a daughter. Two days before they died due to fire set at their place.
After police investigation it has been disclosed that a man also got murdered at a small distance away from the lady home. Hence, the police believe that both these incidents are associated.

Karachi: After the acceptance of the Germany, China and US energy boards to declare coals found in Thar in Pakistan to be most effective and suitable medium for producing electrical energy, Indian organizations have presented their desire to begin their projects here.

Karachi: Police has caught a spy agent of Indian agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). Police got artificial Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) cards from his residence. Disabled girl raped inside Lahore
Based on the news reports, 12 yr old girl is disabled from hands and feet. Her parents had gone to their work places for earning. Founding her alone in the home, a guy known as ‘Salamat’ harassed her.
