Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development programme starts

ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development program has started in Pakistan today, media revealed.

Under this programme, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission will prepare 25000 girls and boys.




Vocational training has initiated in all 3 provinces, including Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA, at the same time.

In addition to free entry and training, students will also get Rs2000 regular payment per month.

As per earlier reports, 77000 candidates have applied for PM’s Youth Skills Development programme since it was announced in April 2014.


Shaza Fatima Khwaja, organizer Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development programme, stated “we're considering of raising the number of seats the coming year to accommodate additional candidates.”
