Lahore Grammar School (LGS) Removed Islamic Studies from Syllabus
Lahore: Lahore Grammar School (LGS) is reported to have removed Islamic Studies as part of the curriculum course of study for Standard 7. Instead of Islam as a subject, Hinduism and Sikhism are launched as the new subjects with students being forced to learn the satanic beliefs. This action is said to be taken at the main campus of the school, 55 Main Gulberg Campus. LGS is facing resistance from the students and the Muslims all around the social web sites.
Being established in 1979, LGS is a Lahore based private institution that imparts education to both the genera till A-levels. The school operates on Cambridge program .It has its college, LGS College for Women that offers bachelor and degree packages in arts, computers and science. Branches operate in Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Wah Cantt and Gujranwala.
The school bears the moral: ‘Educations brings enlightenment to heart and mind’. What type of enlightenment are they paving for the young students? Has any Western institution launched Islam as a subject in their curriculum? Where are we heading to? The government due to negligence of the issues is paving for such ‘western admired elements’ to enjoy learning the anti-Islamic things which are highly objectionable to every Muslim in the society.
Official website of the institution is lgs.edu.pk. You can contact School management by taking e-mail as well as phone numbers from Web site.

England goverment Introduces New Study Visa Guidelines for Pakistani Students
Karachi: United Kingdom has changed Study visa polices because of a lot of false applications scam in last few years. The british government also warned students applying for visa to stay away from brokers who taking part in completely wrong methods. Many agents misguide students and soon after they deal with difficulty. The united kingdom Regional Manager for Visas and Immigration, Mandy Ivemy disclosed surprising facts while speaking in press conference at British Deputy High Commission.
Mandy Ivemy told that UK received around 16,000 students’ applications in 2012. UK Government released 16000 VISAs to students which is 68% of total applicants. On other hand, she also disclosed that in 2012, 3,000 applications from Pakistan contain artificial documentation. This is too much shame for Pakistan as no proper filtration process in Pakistan to scan these types of scammers.
Now if British government will receive student Visa application with fake papers, the applicant will be ban for 10 years, Ivemy said.
The visa process takes 15 business days or 3 weeks but most students go panic, she said. Illegal Overstay is another problem in UK and many Pakistani students don’t return Pakistan after expiry of Student VISA. Ivemy said we have no option other than deport for students who illegally stay in England after completion of VISA.
UK Government is going to launch Financial Bonds system to counter illegal overstays. Now students need to pay these bonds to give surety about their seriousness. Ivemy also clarified that sometimes we ask students to pay 3000 pounds.
