Lahore Grammar School (LGS) Removed Islamic Studies from Syllabus

Lahore: Lahore Grammar School (LGS) is reported to have removed Islamic Studies as part of the curriculum course of study for Standard 7. Instead of Islam as a subject, Hinduism and Sikhism are launched as the new subjects with students being forced to learn the satanic beliefs. This action is said to be taken at the main campus of the school, 55 Main Gulberg Campus. LGS is facing resistance from the students and the Muslims all around the social web sites.

Being established in 1979, LGS is a Lahore based private institution that imparts education to both the genera till A-levels. The school operates on Cambridge program .It has its college, LGS College for Women that offers bachelor and degree packages in arts, computers and science. Branches operate in Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Wah Cantt and Gujranwala.

The school bears the moral: ‘Educations brings enlightenment to heart and mind’. What type of enlightenment are they paving for the young students? Has any Western institution launched Islam as a subject in their curriculum? Where are we heading to? The government due to negligence of the issues is paving for such ‘western admired elements’ to enjoy learning the anti-Islamic things which are highly objectionable to every Muslim in the society.

Official website of the institution is lgs.edu.pk. You can contact School management by taking e-mail as well as phone numbers from Web site.
