United States Of America Agrees To Send Back Doctor Aafia Siddiqui through Prisoner Exchange Arrangement



Washington, Islamabad: America has offered Pakistan to sign prisoner exchange agreement which will help both countries in the future. After signing of agreement, Pakistan will able to bring back Doctor Aafia Siddiqui. And she'll spend remaining jail time life inside Pakistan.


Pakistani federal government requested United States to release Aafia but USA clarified that the legal way to free Aafia is prisoners swap agreement. Interior Ministry also formed a task force for dialogues with US authorities concerning this issue, Pakistani Newspaper revealed. Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is heading this task force. Pakistani Official verified this proposal from US which will help both nations to exchange prisoners.

Aafia’s family and Aafia Movement Pakistan welcomed these media reports. The Pakistani neuroscientist Aafia was missed from Karachi in 2003. US court ordered for 86 years sentence for her.
