Muslim Footballer Denies to put on Newcastle’s Interest-Brand tee shirt



London: The Striker of Senegal National team Papiss Demba Cissé has refused to put on money-lending brand (Wonga) on his tee shirt. He's been eliminated from Newcastle United’s pre-season training camp on this decision. He offered to wear t-shirt any shirt with charity company name or simple unbranded.

Leading Uk Newspaper also quoted that if some has very strong opinion that any brand is not compatible with his belief, and then there must be any solution. Not only Papiss but some Newcastle’s lovers are also happy with club’s agreement with such a company which charges 5,853 % annual interest on loans.

Papiss Cissé was estimated to earn 40,000 Euro per week. In last January, Papiss finalized 9Million Euro deal with Newcastle and he was one of leading athlete for the club. He scored 13 goals in 14 games which show his performance. Earlier, He was also participated of German and French Clubs. He started career in the year 2003 but he is active in European clubs’ since 2005.

It’s pertinent to mention here similar situation occurred with Hashim Amla in cricket. He refused to show bear company logo on his t-shirt. South African team accepted Amla’s Belief but they deduct a specific amount from his contract salary.
