LAHORE: Pakistan allrounder Shahid Khan Afridi says he might retire from one-day internationals after the World Cup the coming year and just focus on Twenty20s.
Afridi quit test cricket 4 years back but the hard-hitting allrounder is a regular person in the limited-overs teams.
He has performed in 3 World Cups, and captained the team to the 2011 semifinals.
Afridi states the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand is ''essential for 2, 3 senior members of the team. I may retire (after the World Cup) and carry on playing Twenty20 cricket.''
The PCB has organized a one-month physical fitness camp in Lahore before announcing the central contracts, and Afridi says while he has went to lots of camps during his 18-year career, ''no doubt this camp is very tough.''
