KARACHI: Atleast three people were killed and around 40 others, including children, were injured in another one militant strike near Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarter 90 in Azizabad area of Karachi on Saturday night.
According to Source “MQM election office situated in the general public park near the party head office was the target of the two individual blasts.”
Nearby buildings and vehicle were damaged while power failure was also reported in the area soon after the incident.
Injured were moved to different hospitals including Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in the violence-ridden port city of Karachi.
Security agencies cordoned off the area but not before the 2nd explosion targeted rescue programs after the 1st bomb blast, said eye witnesses.
