Sony Launch A Mid-Range Android Running Xperia L

Sony recently shown off another one mid-range smartphone the new Xperia L. The Smart phone will sit in the notch above the Xperia P and brings remarkable improvements to the already good package

It also features Sony’s NXT design language. Here’s the specifications list:

  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • 4.3 inch display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels
  • Scratch-resistant capacitive touchscreen
  • 9.7mm thick
  • Weight: 137g
  • 1Ghz dual-core Krait processor
  • Adreno 305 GPU
  • 8 GB expandable storage
  • 8mp rear-camera with Exmor RS sensor
  • Full HD 1080p video recording and HDR modes
  • VGA front-camera
  • Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, Wifi Hotspot, NFC
  • 1900 mAh battery

Available in Black, Red and White offerings
As part of the NXT design, there’s also an LED below the screen which changes colors along with whatever’s being displayed on the screen. The phone are going to be available in Q2 of this present year and will cost around $360 which sums up to around Rs. 40,000. I agree that is not exactly “mid-range stuff” but prices should come down pretty quickly.
