Mumbai: In a new angle in the Salman Khan hit and run case, the Mumbai law enforcement has told the court that the case diary has gone missing. This is in inclusion to 55 of the 63 case related documents which are absent.
The police informed the judge of this issue in the last hearing. The court has asked the criminal prosecution to file a report on the next plan of action.
The court has also advised the former investigating officer, Kisan Shengal, to be present at the next hearing planned on September 12.
Salman Khan’s car had run over a group of people sleeping on a paving material in Bandra, killing one person and injuring 4 others in an accident, 12 years ago. Salman was charged with an additional charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder that's responsible for a 10 year sentence.
