NEW DELHI- One of India’s Bollywood stars Preity Zinta has filed a police complaint alleging that she was molested, mistreated and threatened by an old boyfriend at an Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match, authorities said Saturday.
Zinta offender businessman Ness Wadia, who co-owns the Kings XI Punjab IPL team with the celebrity, of abusing her after the pair got into an debate while watching their team play the Chennai Super Kings on May 30.
“We gotten Zinta’s grievance on Friday,” Mumbai police officer Vijay Mane told journalists.
“She wrote that both of them were relaxing with each other at the Mumbai Wankhede stadium on May 30 when they had an argument over something following which he threatened her, pushed her and utilized bad vocabulary against her,” Mane said.
