United States Secretary of State John Kerry has mentioned that pilotless aircraft drone attacks are not breaking Pakistan’s sovereignty but those people who are targeting Pakistan are violating Pakistan’s sovereignty. John Kerry stated that drone strikes are carried out in a transparent way. John Kerry was addressing press conference with Sartaj Aziz, Adviser towards Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign matters.

At the same time Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said that if drone attacks are ended a lot of the militants will be motivated to give up their Jihad narrative. Imran Khan met John Kerry today and reiterated that drones were a violation of international law and counterproductive as they cause collateral damage in regards to growing act of terrorism.
