It is expected that this year Saudi Arabia will experience twenty-eight fasts (rozay) and moon of Eid may seem today. This was reported by leading Urdu newspaper(Jang) of Pakistan on its first page.
Meanwhile in Pakistan Ruet-e-Hilal panel conference for sighting of moon of Shawwal 1434 Hijri will be held on 8th August (Thursday) in Karachi. The committee will meet under the chairmanship of Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman.
According to some people Shawwal moon can be sighted today in Saudi Arabia any other gulf states. However the news hasn't become viral in Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates (UAE) but in Pakistan due to news getting published inside leading Urdu newspaper everyone is excited to see that whether today moon will be sighted or not. If Shawwal moon is sighted today than all of those people residing in Saudi Arabia along with other gulf states will have to fast again.
