Pakistan Railways has launched to operate 4 special train locomotives on the event of Eid-ul-Fitr to bring passengers from various cities. Anjum Pervaiz, General Manager of Pakistan Railways, announced that special trains will start their work from 6th August.
The very first special train will depart from Karaachi on 6th August at 11:00 AM and will reach Peshawar via Multan, Sahiwal and Raiwind. The 2nd train will depart from Karachi on 7th August at 11:00 AM and will reach Lahore via Multan and Faisalabad.
3rd train will depart on 6th August from Quetta at 12:00 PM for Rawalpindi through Multan and Lahore whereas 4th train will depart on 8th August from Peshawar at 12:00 PM for Lahore and will reach the city at 9:10 PM.
Recently Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique revealed to cut down the railway fares by up to 57%.
