JI announces wheel jam strike on May 13



Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has boycotted of the general elections after rigging was being recorded on gun-point by the terrorists of MQM in different polling stations. The JI has also launched a wheel jam strike on May 13 against the rigging in general elections.
JI Chief Syed Munawar Hasan by endorsing the decision said that those forces which supported the MQM have worked against the democracy and broke all norms. He further said the rigging in polls has disappointed the people of Karachi and Hyderabad.

JI chief said that the MQM terrorists by holding the public hostage have grabbed their right to vote. In a press conference at Idara-e-Noor Haq, JI Karachi Chief Muhammad Hussain Mahenti stated that the employees of City Government and Water Board related with MQM acted as presiding officers in all polling stations adding Election Commission has also supported the MQM in this act.

He mentioned that the rigging by MQM terrorists was being recorded at the polling stations in NA-250, NA-241,NA243,NA244,NA245,NA246,, NA-252, NA-253, NA-254,NA257and its associated provincial assemblies’ constituencies.

Former City Nazim Naimatullah Khan Advocate and JUP leader Shah Owais Noorani also spoke on the occasion. JI leaders among Zahid Saeed, Barjees Ahmed, Raja Arif Sultan, Osama Razi, Information Secretary Zahid Askari, Sarfaraz Ahmed and others were also present on the occasion.
